Denbigh Harriers Weekly Report 13-2-17

The popular Moel y Ci fell race took place in cold and slippery conditions which made the 5 miles and 951 foot of climbing more challenging than usual for the three Denbigh Harriers who ventured out. Tony Wood a newcomer to the fells, enjoyed this outing and was the first Denbigh Harrier home. There was a close contest between Ceri Belshaw and Emma Collins with Ceri finishing two places ahead of Emma and Emma winning her age category by some margin.

42nd Tony Wood 49.04, 82nd Ceri Belshaw 54.46, 84th Emma Collins 55.08 (1st W50)

There were only two Denbigh Harriers running the Nick Beer 10k in Llandudno in fairly fierce conditions that included waves crashing onto the prom near the finish Despite the battering both Sioned Griffiths and Caroline Parry achieved personal bests for the distance.

344th Sioned Griffiths 52.44 (PB), 391st Caroline Parry 54.41 (PB)
