Conwy Fell Race

This was the first running of the Conwy Fell Race. The course had been altered for safety reasons meaning that the rock climbing section was missing. It was a testing little 8k (5 mile) course with 555m (1820″) of climbing. Nice dry and warm conditions for the race. Great views and some lovely paths apart from a very nasty sting in the tail of the race. Good soup and prizes in the Pub afterwards for the seven Denbigh Harriers who took part: Victoria Whitehead (1st F40), Jon Whitehead, Ceri Belshaw (3rd Woman), Vic Belshaw, Menai Baugh (2nd F50) and David Baugh (2nd M50).
